The Midtown Farmers’ Market

The Midtown Farmers Market is back again this year to provide a vibrant and fun environment for the community to buy local produce right in the middle of Raleigh! The market will take place every Saturday morning from the middle of April to early November. Typically, the summer and fall times are the most popular because of the produce available. The markets are completely dog friendly and oftentimes will have free snacks, treats, and maybe even toys for the dogs from the local vendors.

The 5k9 Dog Jog

The 5k9 Dog Jog is a race that is sponsored by the Vets To Vets United organization. According to local Raleigh magazine, We Raleigh, the event is a fundraiser for disabled veterans but is open to the public to run, jog, or walk. The event shows support for veterans as well as service dogs but is open to dogs of all shapes and sizes. The event will have music from a D.J, local product vendors, activities for dogs, an award ceremony, and much more!
